Beskargam? I am not familiar...but yay for wanting to cosplay! :D It's so much fun, to be someone else for awhile (and not for the "mask" reason, but just for the fun of it!)

*sings along with Coldplay some more*

See me glomp Vic on YouTube! :glomp: [link]
*more edication in SW lingo* "Beskargam", or "beskar'gam", meaning Iron Skin, is the mando term for armor.

Lately it's been very frustrating to realize that I've gone from maybe 10 different costumes/uniforms in Fl to...none.

Esp now that I know more people to do things with. ;}

I thought of going Mando but the Storm trooper is going to be a LOT of work.

I found a good snap tutorial and I know someone who may be making the rifles

Are you a member of The Dented Helmet? They have lots of topics on making Fett and other Mando costumes

If I can swing it, I might just buy the Boba halloween costume {and the "stiff" clone costume} as a starting point and just do some repainting and tweaks. The clone, for example, would need a Phase one helmet with viewfinder and a nice black Advisor detailing job. And a kama. ;}

And yeah, dented helmet was where I learned about 'garbage can' armor panels. :D Nice thing is, I'm getting into a circle of friends who do have some of the crafting skills I don't, so when I can seriously look at going scratch-built, I should be able to pull it off a little easier. :}

See, I'm kind of stuck in that, if I'm going to do SW cosplay, it's going to not only be the 2 groups I like the most {Stormies and their kin coming in 3rd ;) }, but that I also have characters for. If I'm going to cosplay, I might as well cosplay TeVerd or Vy'ika, no? :}

But you can never beat Stormtrooper for cool factor, they just look so neat

If you stick all of the EU Sithlords in a room most of the world won’t know who they are.
I infuriate my friends who costume as Darth Nihilus by making hockey jokes for example ;)

I'm all for EU costumes though, it makes StarWars live and last longer

As Poppa George himself said "it's the fans love for every last little detail that put Star Wars where it is." :}
